Power-packed batting line-up:
England are blessed with an in-form batting line-up. Everyone is in top form. Openers Jonny Bairstow, Jason Roy have put up brilliant show for England in the ODI series. They slammed three tons and two fifties between themselves in the ODI series. Jos Buttler slammed a brilliant ton in the last ODI to help England chase down 206 with a wicket to spare. Eoin Morgan, Alex Hales and Joe Root have given brilliant support too. Overall, this is one of the best batting line-ups in limited-overs cricket.
Complacency: After completing a 5-0 rout of Australia in the ODI series, England may become complacent and struggle to beat Australia in the only T20I. Can England keep on the winning momentum to complete total
humiliation of Australia?
Despite the below-average show by Australian players in the ODI series, they do have world-class batsmen in Aaron Finch, Glenn Maxwell to do the job for them. Besides, they also have top-class bowlers in Andrew Tye, Billy Stanlake and Australia would be quite a handy team in T20 cricket. They just need to believe in themselves to spoil England’s party.
There’s nothing more worse than a losing momentum. Australia have been exposed by England in all departments and suffered an embarrassing 0-5 whitewash in the ODI series. It would be a tough task for Australia to bounce back
and be competitive in the only T20I. Can Australia overturn the losing momentum?
England are the in-form team, while Australia are visibly struggling and finding it difficult to replace Warner, Smith who are serving a year ban. England would start favourites in the T20I as well.
